ENDUROCADD® Software - Cyclonic
This course is for detailers who will be working on jobs in cyclonic areas. It will focus on typical single storey house designs that are built in the north of Australia

At the end of this course, students are required to submit a detailing manual which demonstrates they have understood the concepts that have been taught in this course.

This ENDUROCADD® software training course builds on the principles taught in the Single Storey Basics course and Complex Roofs course.

Additional considerations around meeting much higher wind uplift forces will be covered, including:

  • The differences between cyclonic and non-cyclonic wind design
  • The codes that apply
  • Using the cyclonic Enduroframe design manuals
  • How to address higher uplift forces that affect tie downs and bracing
Completion of this course is a requirement for applying to be a Cyclonic Single Storey ENDUROCADD® Tained Software User.
For more information on becoming a Trained Software User able to sign-off jobs, refer to the guide on this page: Trained Software User, TSU Certification.

Total course duration is approximately 3 hours. This includes time to create your own construction preferences / detailing manual for jobs in cyclonic areas.
